Sadly, several of our members suffered loses over the summer:
Margaret Miller’s mother, Elizabeth Crahan, passed away in California at the age of 100 on June 6. Kim Jowell’s father passed away on June 8; Kem Toole’s mother Frances on June 16 and the mother of Denise Chavez, longtime former Athena member Helen Chavez, passed away on August 2. To all these members we extend our heartfelt sympathies.
