Applications have gone out to representatives from the agencies listed below to seek applicants for this year’s Phyllis Marshall Career Assistance Grants. These awards provide a tangible hand up and encouragement to woman in our community. The ideal candidate for this award is financially in need and striving to improve their vocational opportunities through education. The grants are provided to women through their schools and may be used for tuition, transportation expenses, or to meet other living expenses while attending school. The Athena Society only awards scholarships to non-profit schools, which includes all public schools and universities. Please share the application (click here to download) with a deserving woman or with staff who work supporting women. The deadline for submission of these applications is Friday, March 4, 2016. Those receiving awards will be invited to the Athena luncheon on Thursday, May 5.
